Fellow position in Molecular and Pharmaco-Epidemiology Unit

One 12-month fellowship is readily available in the Molecular and Pharmaco-Epidemiology Unit led by Sara Gandini at the Department of Experimental Oncology, IEO, Milan. The aim of the proposed study, titled “Germline variants and progression of cutaneous melanoma in children and adolescents”, is to investigate whether germline genetic alterations are associated with melanoma prognostic factors and survival in a cohort of childhood/adolescent melanoma patients with diagnosis before 21 years of age. The project involves national and international collaborators. The successful candidate will be mainly involved and trained in data management and analysis.

Requisites of the candidate:

  • MSc degree in Biostatistics, Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or related disciplines;
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • Previous experience in clinical studies and data management
  • Reliability, precision;
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attitude toward team work
