The Flow Cytometry Unit at the Department of Experimental Oncology (DEO) of the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) is looking for a highly motivated technician.
The successful candidate will be involved in a multi-user facility and as part of a broader analytical services team.
The technician will be trained and involved in technical flow cytometry activities, in particular in the use of various flow cytometers, including three cell sorters (BD FACAria Fusion, BD SorterMelody and BD FACSJazz) and three cell analyzers (2 BD FACSCelesta and MACSQUANT)
Requisites of the candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology or equivalent
- Experience with flow cytometry instrumentation and relevant software Diva and FlowJo
- Ability to manage competing priorities and to work independently
- Ability to work in a team
