The Mass Spectrometry Unit at the European Institute of Oncology is seeking a Technical Research Fellow to join our team starting January 2025. The successful candidate will be trained and involved on sample preparation workflows and instrument operation to support qualitative and quantitative MS-based proteomics analysis.
The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Biology, Applied Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field, with a strong interest in analytical techniques.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with:
- Experience in laboratory work, particularly in handling biological samples.
- Knowledge or experience in protein biochemistry and related analytical workflows.
- Familiarity with mass spectrometry workflows or a willingness to learn.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A basic knowledge of English (written and spoken).
The recruited fellow will be fully trained and integrated into the Mass Spectrometry Unit (https://www.research.ieo.it/research-and-technology/technological-units), a core facility providing state-of-the-art proteomics platforms to support scientific research at the institute.
