I studied Bioinformatics in Tübingen and Recife. I did my PhD at the Max Delbrück Center in Berlin. I then moved to Barcelona where I worked at the Centre for Genomic Regulation first as a PostDoc and then as a staff scientist. In 2018 I moved to Milan to start my own lab as a junior group leader at the IEO.
