Marzia Fumagalli

Since mid-2018, she is coordinating the technology transfer activities of Istituto Europeo di Oncologia (IEO) as Head of the Technology Transfer Office, IEO-TT. From 2010 to May 2018, she was Intellectual Property Manager at TTFactor Srl.

Previously, she worked for about ten years as a biomedical researcher at IFOM, the MRC Clinical Sciences Center in London and the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori of Milan; she is author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications.

Graduated in Medical Biotechnology at the Università degli Studi di Milano, she holds an international research doctorate (PhD degree) in Molecular Medicine from SEMM - European School of Molecular Medicine and a Master in Intellectual Property Law and Management (LLM degree) from CEIPI - Center for International Studies in Intellectual Property - at University of Strasbourg. 

She is invited as speaker at seminar and university courses on intellectual property.

She attended several courses on entrepreneurship, proof of concept funds, negotiation and marketing strategies from American (AUTM) and European associations (ASTP-Proton) for technology transfer managers. She completed the "Business Plan" executive course at the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan.
