7TH MEETING ON EMERGING ISSUES IN ONCOGENIC VIRUS RESEARCH

In 2010 our dear and unforgettable friend, Prof. Massimo Tommasino, conceived the idea of organizing the first biannual meeting on oncogenic viruses in his beloved Puglia. With his vision, he gathered leading international scientists to discuss and exchange data on emerging and well-established cancer associated viruses.

Given the significance and success of this meeting and the five subsequent editions, we felt it was our duty to carry forward the path started by Prof. Tommasino. Our goal is to ensure ongoing updates and comparison of data, fostering collaboration and advancements in the field.

We are therefore proud to announce the upcoming 7th Meeting on Emerging Issues in Oncogenic Virus Research, which will be held in Manduria, Italy, from 3rd to 8th June 2025.

The meeting will focus on new insights into well-established oncogenic viruses and explore emerging oncogenic viruses, along with their clinical implications.

More than 40 international speakers will examine and critically evaluate the epidemiology, immunology, and biology of tumor-associated viruses, as well as their lower-risk effects and impact on patients’ life.

In its 7th edition, we anticipate the attendance of experienced basic scientists, including biologists, epidemiologists, and clinicians as well as PhD students and junior scientists who will present studies and new data on the proposed topics. The comfortable venue is designed to foster casual, direct interactions and in-depth discussions, providing ample opportunities to forge new collaborations.
