After the Master’s Degree in Biological Science at the University of Milan in 2002 I moved, at the end of the same year, to the European Institute of Oncology.
Here I started working as technician in the Musacchio’s group at the Department of Experimental Oncology. During my job activity I acquired extensive expertise in molecular biology (DNA cloning, site-specific mutagenesis), protein biochemistry (recombinant protein expression, protein purification and fluorescence labelling of protein) and cell biology (mammalian cell cultures, transient and stable transfection and RNA interference).
Along these years, I supported undergraduate students, PhD and post-docs researches to carry forward their research activities.
In 2012, I joined the Biochemistry and Structural Biology Unit (BSU) at the European Institute of Oncology where I’m currently in charge of the pipelines for protein production and purification in bacteria, insect and mammalian cells.
