The Office of the Chairman is in charge of assisting the Chairman and the Executive Director in managing key issues related to the policy and strategy of the department, as well as discussing future large financial investments, profound department reorganization, research vision guiding important department decisions (eg new group leaders hiring). It is constituted by eight senior PIs: Dr Bruno Amati, Dr Tiziana Bonaldi, Dr Pier Paolo Di Fiore, Dr Saverio Minucci, Dr Marina Mapelli, Dr Gioacchino Natoli, Dr Diego Pasini, Dr Rosella Visintin.
